The 24056 PotCon hermetic bulkhead connector is one of the most trusted and utilized feedthroughs in the space simulation and vacuum market. Nearly 20 years ago, the feedthrough was designed to offer a simple, reliable hermetic connection into thermal vacuum chambers.
The 24056 part is popular due to its high density. The design includes an MS27467T25F61P plug on the atmospheric side and an MS27467T25F61S on the vacuum side. With 61 contacts using a MIL-DTL-38999 interface, the bulkhead connector allows users to reduce the total number of penetrations within a test chamber.
It features a plug-to-receptacle design, with the receptacle installed within the vacuum atmosphere. Standard variations are available such as integral thermocouple connections. Douglas can provide mating connectors or harnesses as required and customize your feedthrough with other connector options.
