POPULAR VACUUM FLANGES
- CF flanges: Characterized by their flat sealing surfaces using a copper gasket interface. They are often used in high-vacuum systems because they provide a high-quality, leak-tight seal.
- KF flanges: Similar to CF flanges, but have a flanged collar instead of a clamping mechanism. They are often used in medium-vacuum systems.
- ISO flanges: These are standardized flanges that are commonly used in low-vacuum systems. They have a projecting collar and are sealed with an O-ring.
- NW flanges: Standardized flanges that are similar to ISO flanges, but have a smaller size range. They are often used in small-scale vacuum systems.
