Douglas Electrical Components manufactures both standard and custom hermetic D-sub connectors for various applications and industries. The 55551 design is a compact D-sub 9-position feedthrough with a vacuum face seal. The D-sub connector is designed to operate in a vacuum, with solder pin connections intended for use in atmospheric environments. The feedthrough is hermetically sealed using our epoxy technology. With its small footprint, this hermetic package is lightweight and suitable for compact spaces.
Our team has the design capabilities to manufacture similar products for OEM applications, using different D-sub connectors as well as other types, such as Micro-D or MIL-spec circular connectors.
