The 24060 hermetic bulkhead connector is a plug to receptacle hermetic feedthrough designed for vacuum atmospheric test and measurement applications. Mechanically, it is designed with a 1 3/4″ vacuum face seal, simplifying installation into chamber environments. The housing is installed using a locknut and Nitrile O-ring hermetically seal the outside of the housing.
Inside the housing, Douglas employs a hermetic, low outgassing epoxy to hermetically seal the stainless steel feedthrough. This particular design features an MS27467T25F35P plug on the atmospheric side of the chamber with an MS27466T25F35S operating in the vacuum environment. The 128 contacts make this design a high density product with the ability to run multiple power and signal connections through a single feedthrough housing.
