As 2025 draws to a close, it’s clear that this has been a year of progress and purpose for Douglas Electrical Components. We didn’t just hit milestones—we set the stage for even bigger achievements ahead. Let’s take a moment to look back at what we accomplished and share where we’re headed in 2026.
A Year of Growth
This year, we continued to have double-digit growth, a result of hard work and a relentless focus on delivering high quality solutions for our customers. Our team expanded and grew stronger with new employees bringing fresh ideas and expertise to every project. One of the most exciting developments was the opening of our first European office, a strategic move that positions us closer to international customers and strengthens our global footprint. Additionally, we welcomed Sarah Trezza as our new CEO, whose vision and energy will guide us into the next phase of growth.
Innovation That Matters
2025 was all about practical solutions that solve real challenges. We officially launched push-through feedthroughs, designed to meet evolving industry needs for reliability and ease of use. Created for setups where electrical connections are consistently changed or upgraded, this product line provides a hermetic seal during use and replacement.
We also expanded our backpotted connector capabilities, introducing a MIL-DTL-38999 datasheet with a “Build a Part Number” section to simplify customization for our customers.
Another major initiative focused on expanding our capabilities within the StudSeal series for hermetic terminal seals in order to address a critical gap in ATEX-rated solutions. The certification process is on track, and we’re excited to roll out this new product line in February 2026.
These innovations aren’t just new products; they’re tools that help our customers meet demanding regulatory and application requirements while maintaining high-quality, reliable performance.
Serving Critical Industries
Our products continue to make an impact in industries producing products for advanced technology industries which require highly engineered sealed connector and harness solutions. This year we assisted a number of different industries, developing new, innovative solutions for the military and semiconductor equipment industries. From nuclear glovebox and micro-nuclear reactor applications to liquid immersion feedthroughs for cooling systems to support supercomputing and quantum computing, we supported several sectors experiencing rapid growth, including the booming data center market. Our expertise in electrical power transmission & distribution (T&D) further solidified our reputation as a trusted partner in energy infrastructure.
Looking Ahead
2026 is shaping up to be another strong year. With new products ready to launch, a growing global presence, and a leadership team focused on innovation, we’re prepared to keep moving forward. Not only are we launching ATEX-certified StudSeals for hazardous locations, but we are also developing a new product line for CT junction blocks and pucks to expand our support for the T&D industry.
Guided by our new leadership and fueled by a culture of innovation, Douglas Electrical Components is ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the coming year. We support clients worldwide, but are a US manufacturer, producing high-quality parts in our New Jersey factory and utilizing a strong US-based customer support team. Our goal is simple: deliver solutions that make a difference, backed by the quality and reliability our clients expect.
