Douglas Electrical Components manufactures the 125/37 product line of hermetic connectors that are designed as replacements for the obsoleted DM5623 series. In many cases, customers have existing test and measurement setups in vacuum chambers with wiring and harnessing designed for the DM5623 series. Douglas Electrical Components can help to ensure those assemblies do not go to waste when designing a hermetic assembly for a vacuum chamber. Various standard pin configurations are available. Each DM5623 is designed with a standard weld groove, Nitrile O-ring, and jamnut.
Douglas can also customize the hermetic connector to fit your exact needs as well as integrate into a larger Portplate assembly, with multiple DM5623 connectors hermetically sealed into a plate, flange, or other custom mechanical interface.
Douglas can also design hermetic connector solutions for other obsolete connector designs. Using our epoxy sealing process, Douglas can take standard, non-hermetic versions of obsolete connectors and hermetically seal them.
